Mrs. Carole M. Lombard of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late David J. Lombard, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the daughter of the late James and Carolyn (Nido) Manzolli of Waterbury. Mrs. Lombard graduated in 1959 from Waterbury Hospital, School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at Marshall Lane Manor in Derby for over 25 years before her retirement.
She is survived by her devoted sons, David J. Lombard and his wife Beth of Shelton and Brian D. Lombard of Ansonia, three grandchildren, Jeremey and Nicholas Lombard of Derby and Samantha Lombard of Shelton, who lovingly called her “Noni." She also leaves her brother, James Manzolli and his wife Camille of Stratford, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff at CT Hospice for the gentle and compassionate care for Carole. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
