|Birth: ||Jun. 21, 1928|
|Death: ||Dec. 10, 1946|
US Marine Corps Veteran. Born in Greeley Weld County, Colorado and enlisted into the US Marines on September 26, 1946, at Denver. He had just completed his training as a Marine Private at San Diego and was assigned to Prisoner of War and Military Police Detachment, Headquarters USMC. He was a passenger on the plane carrying 32 Marines from San Diego to Seattle when their twin-engined plane crashed on Mt. Rainier in Washington. The plane apparently had crashed blindly into the side of the 3000 ft. cliff, hurling them down the deep crevasses at the base of the glacier. Because of deep snow and the rugged terrain of the country, no bodies were ever recovered.
