ABINGTON-George Ross Swallow, 86, a native and lifelong resident of Abington, died late Sunday night following a lengthy illness. He was a retired painter.
Only survivors are nieces and nephews.
Service for Mr. Swallow will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Welfer-Mills Funeral Home, Centerville, with Rev. R.T. MacDonald, Pastor of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church, Richmond, officiating. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
