Although no record of their marriage has been found to date, she married Henry W. Brown some time prior to April 27th of 1805, when she renounced her dower rights on land that her husband sold.
She is found in the 1810 Spartanburg County, South Carolina Census.
I have not been able to find her in the 1820 Census, as Henry County was created from Chickasaw Indian lands in 1821. Why the family decided to relocate to Henry County, Tennessee is unknown at this time.
She is also found in the 1830 Henry County, Tennessee Census.
A handwritten letter from Richmond J. Brown states "My mother and my sister, Temperance, are buried in the Paris, Tennessee graveyard". Furthermore, the same letter states "My father, Henry W. Brown, died at his home near Lexington, Mississippi and was buried in the Lexington Graveyard". The letter goes on to name the burial places of his other siblings.
