Florence Estelle Amberman King, 66, of Inverness, Florida, died suddenly on Thursday, November 25, 2004, at her home.

She was born May 5, 1938, in Brentwood, New York and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1953. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1956 and upon graduating, she moved to Kansas City, Missouri to attend airline school, graduating in 1957, and moving to Miami, Florida. She worked for Eastern Airlines as a teletypist. She married Dan Manning, who also worked for Eastern as an electrician on the aircraft. They had a son Danny.

She moved to Inverness, Citrus County, Florida in 1981 where she worked as a unit secretary for Citrus Memorial Hospital. She attended the Fort Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ned King, and her father Raymond Amberman.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Marlene Amberman of Lewisville, Texas; her mother, Florence Amberman of Inverness; three sisters, Shirley Guenette of Inverness, Jean Hancock of Eatonton, Georgia, and Renee Ball of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren, Brian Hollon of Allen, Texas, Amber Hollon of Denton, Texas, Amanda Amberman of Lewisville, Texas, and Christina Amberman of Sarasota, Florida.
