Everett Youngman 305 Wabash Avenue died in the Marine Hospital in Evansville Indiana last evening at 7:50 o'clock after being in the hospital for the past 3 weeks.
He was a native of Friendsville where he was born April 6,1883
a son of Vincent and Maggie (McDonald) Youngman and at age 54 years 7 months and 23 days.
He was married to Julia Seitz at Carmi Illinois
She died last august. Two children preceded him in death
Surviving are 8 children Dale, Cora, Everett jr, Carl, Earl, William, Robert, Helen, and Julia Ann, grandson Eddie Ray Youngman and by the following brothers and sisters, Harmon Youngman, MT Carmel Ill. Clarence Youngman Maunee Ill. Aaron Youngman MT Carmel ILL. Mrs Victor Robling, Little Rock Ark. Mrs Clara Hickman, Danville Ill.
for the past 18 years Mr Youngman had been a river pilot for the Mount Carmel Sand and Gravel Company. He had for 34 years held a government License and one of the oldest and best known pilots on the Wabash River.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 from the Church of God in charge of Rev. Ivan K. Dawson and burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
