James Street Durham, 85, of Snow Lake, died Sept. 22 , 2005. He was the widower of Jeanne Inman Durham, a Baptist, a civil service employee, and a veteran of the Marines.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Ashland Cemetery.
He leaves two sons, Phillip Dale Durham of Memphis, Tenn., Michael Durham of Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Mary Stroupe of Memphis, Tenn., Nell Horton of Byhalia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jeanne Durham.
