Donald L. "Donnie" Slaven, 40, of Spencerville, died 9:54 a.m., Thursday July 28, 2016, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born November 20, 1975, the son of Donald &Sandra (Craft) Slaven. His father & step-mother, Donald & Beth Slaven, and his mother & stepfather, Sandra & Charles Luckadoo, survive.
Other survivors include 9 children, Gaige Slaven, Riley Werling, Darke Werling, Modesti Foster, Donald Lee Slaven, Jr., Wesley Bo Slaven, Annaliese Gorsuch, Ethan Grimes, & Jeremy Kohli, a granddaughter Maddie Kohli, grandfather, Fred "Bo" Craft, a brother, Michael Slaven, a step-brother, David Luckadoo.
Donnie worked as a sign installer with Sa-Mor Signs. He was amember of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #919, Spencerville, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #767, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Post #1533, Indian Lake. He was a musician, motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed fishing.

The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m., Sunday July 31, 2016, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville. Funeral services will be in Whitley City, KY., on Wednesday Aug. 3, 2016
