Michael Steven Hargrove, 65, of Midland, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00PM at Greenwood Baptist Church.
Michael was born on March 6, 1951 to Edna and Lloyd Hargrove in Midland.
He is survived by Jami Hargrove, his wife of 36 years; daughter, Stephanie Epperson, son, Robert Hargrove and wife Ariel Hargrove, granddaughters, Emiley Taylor and significant other John Brewer, Tyleigh Taylor and fiancé Austin Griffin, grandson Brian Weston Taylor and fiancé Melanie Mayo, and great granddaughter Meadow Griffin; Brothers Larry Hargrove and wife Connie Hargrove, James Hargrove and wife Beth Hargrove; sister, Linda Stuart; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by mother, Edna Belle Hargrove, father, Lloyd Hargrove, sister, Carolyn Finefrock, sister, April Hargrove, and brother, Dale Hargrove.
Michael served with in the Red Horse Unit of the Air Force for 8 years. Since 1980, his career of 37 years has been in pipeline. Beginning with Mobil, then Exxon Mobil, and at the time of death, Michael was a Measurement Specialist Lead for Centurion Pipeline South Region. He loved his family. He loved all nature and outdoors. Michael had a heart as big as all outdoors and enjoyed providing a home for homeless dogs.
