Ann Smith Higginbotham (1937-2009) AL
HIGGINBOTHAM, ANN SMITH, age 71, of Pelham, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 in her home surrounded by her family and friends. Private services were held. She was born in Virginia, the daughter to the late Mr. Waymond Ware Smith and Mrs. Laura Blackburn Smith. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, William "Bill" Higginbotham; son, Les W. Higginbotham and his wife, Elizabeth and their children, Loren Bilbro and Lagen Hope Higginbotham all of Vestavia Hills, AL; son, Ben E. Higginbotham of Columbiana, AL; and brother, Ray Smith of San Francisco, CA. The family would like to especially thank Hospice Service of Alabama for their compassion and care during this most difficult time. Charter Funeral Home.
