Jeffrey Kent Gibson, 53, of Charleston, died unexpectedly at home Wednesday morning, March 12, 2008. He was born November 17, 1954, in Charleston, the son of the late Wayne and Reba Lilly Gibson. Jeff is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Jeffery Rose of Hurricane; and nephew and niece, Matthew Rose of Dunbar and Kristin Rose of St. Albans. Jeff lived his life in the Kanawha Valley and was a well-known local guitarist for many years. He graduated from St. Albans High School in 1973. Jeff touched the lives of his family and many friends over the years and will be sadly missed. A memorial service honoring the life of Jeff will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, 409 Sixth Ave., St. Albans.
