Royce Merrill Castellow, 87, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Royce was born Tuesday, February 12, 1929 in Columbus, Georgia where he spent most of his life until moving to Florida with his beautiful bride of 67 years, Adelle Castellow. Royce is preceded in death by the love of his life, Adelle Castellow who passed Saturday, June 4, 2015.

The 87 years Royce was with us were filled with copious accomplishments and rewards all along the way. In high school Royce lettered in football receiving a scholarship to Wofford College. He also holds a state win in Handball, several metals and ribbons in marathons and half marathons. Royce had a true servant’s heart, he served in the Navy Reserve for 5 years after college. His passion to serve didn’t stop there, Royce was a member and leader in the DeMolays Organization for many years, as well as, a 33rd Degree Mason. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Columbus where he served a Deacon and Sunday school teacher.
