Lawrence L. "Smokey" Loomis, 69, 668 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 20 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
He was born in Buffalo County and had been employed as a pipe fitter.
Survivors include four sons, Roger, Eau Claire, Robert, Gordon, both of Eleva, James, LaCrosse; a daughter, Jane Gullickrud, Eau Claire; three brothers, Henry, Cadott, Robert, Milwaukee, Donald, whittier, Calif.; five sisers, Edna Engebretson, Eau Claire, Laura Dali, Cedarburg, Ruth Petrie, Pompano Beach, Fla., Audrey Knecht, LaHabre, Calif., Ruby Dickinson, Magalia, Calif.; and eigh grandchildren.
Services were at 8 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel. The body was cremated.
