Born Marilyn Ann Davis on June 11, 1926. Married Richard Neal Hahn on 3-30-1950. Divorced in March 1973. Madge had three sons: Richard Neal Hahn, Jr (1950-1966), John Stephen (11-29-1955 to...), James Louis (1-12-54 to...).

She and my father, Richard Neal Hahn, Sr. were married for almost 25 years.
Later, Madge married Fred Mitchell Jackson III on 12-10-1993 and was married to Fred until her death. Fred and Madge were a "perfect fit".

She was a Genealogist, Archaeologist, Historian, and Author. She wrote or compiled 30+ books on Alabama History, Probate records, genealogical records, etc.
Madge had two Grandchildren: Christine Ava Hahn Tapio (born 7-15-75) and James Brian Hahn (born 12-15-82).

Madge lived her entire life in the Birmingham metro area except for about 1 1/2 years in Montgomery, AL when she was briefly married to Carr Barefield.

She was the daughter of Fred Lewis Davis and Gladys Scott Sims Davis. She had one older sister: Martha Adele Davis Jaeckels McDonald. All are buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.

She had an older brother who died as a toddler prior to Madge's birth. His name was Fred Lewis Davis, Jr. Thus far,I have not been able to locate where he was buried, when he was born, nor when or where he died, but he most likely was born and died in Birmingham.
