Harry was the son of Charles Francis Bowmaster and Caroline Marriott. He served in WWI with the 143rd Transportation Corps serving in Europe. He was decorated by the French and Belgium governments. Before and after the war he worked for the Railroads. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar, Shrine, and Order of the Eastern Star.
On 24 Dec 1922 in Abilene, Dickinson, Kansas, he married Pauline Campbell. They had one son who died at birth January 1924 probably in Sabetha, Kansas. Harry was a traveling salesman and died in Oklahoma of walking pneumonia. He was buried in the Campbell plot in Abilene. I have been told that Pauline 2nd married a George William Barber.
