Leonard William Baldwin, 77, of Wichita died on July 20, 2001. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. He was born on January 28, 1924 in Marshall, Missouri. He moved to Kansas at the age of 14 and graduated from Cottonwood Falls High School. He served in the Navy during World War II. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1950 and was Manager of Engineering Configuration Control at Boeing Wichita prior to his retirement in 1986. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ambie; and his sister, Mary Brandal of Renton, Washington.
