Odell FieldsROCK HILL - Odell Fields, 65, of Rock Hill, S.C., died Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was a decorated U.S. Marine Vietnam veteran and was retired from General Tire Company. Mr. Fields loved helping others, spending time working in his yard, golfing, and mostly being the best PawPaw he could be to his grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tamara W. Fields; three children, Johnny Odell Fields and fianc e, Cindy Juskus of St. Marys, Ga., Robert Eugene Fields and wife, Tisha Adkins Fields of Rock Hill and Amanda Yvonne Fields of Rock Hill; three sisters, Mary Gaskins, Cathy Ann Atkinson and Diane Campbell; a brother, Earl Fields; a sister-in-law, Patricia W. Alexander of St. Mary's, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Haylee, Skyler, Keeley, Jason, Carter, Gavin and Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Odell. A Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, in the Oakdale Baptist Church, with the family receiving friends from 2 p.m. until service time.
