Dora M. Barnhart passed away peacefully at Evergreen Hospice Care Center in Kirkland, WA on December 31, 2013. She was 99 years young! Born in Genesee, ID April 28, 1914; she graduated high school in Wallace, ID. She was a 36-year employee of Sears, Roebuck during the Seattle mail-order days.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling to such places as Hawaii, Reno, Vancouver, BC, Mexico and Panama Canal. She was very close to her many friends at Sears Retirement Club and TOPS.
She raised her two children, JoAnn Baze (Norman) and Leonard (Joan) on her own. She has five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons. We all miss her very much.
The family wish to thank all the kind care-givers at her two assisted-living facilities; Daystar and Madison House.
She requested no services. Remembrances may be made to your favorite charity.
