Dave Lee Justice, 48, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. The son of the late John and Gladys Price Justice, he was born Dec. 2, 1955, in Lafayette. He lived in Virginia Beach, VA, for 15 years, returning to this area five years ago.

A 1974 graduate of Jefferson High School, he had been very active on the schools swimming and diving team. He was a painter, working for his brother at John's Painting Co. He attended Dayton United Methodist Church. His hobbies were sport fishing, deer hunting and water sports.

Surviving are a son David Lee Justice II and a daughter, Kari Ann Justice, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Sue Denney of Monticello and Bonnie Straub of Lafayette; four brothers, Michael Justice (wife Nanda), Paul Justice, Ken Justice (wife Diane), all of Lafayette, and John Justice (wife Nancy) of West Lafayette; and one granddaughter. Service Feb. 8, Dayton United Methodist Church, Pastor Sam Justice officiating.
