Funeral services for Albert Modell O'Neal, Sr, age 85 a retired farmer and school bus driver, will be held at 2PM on Monday, October 11, 2004 at the Kilbourne Baptist Church in Kilbourne, Louisiana with Rev. Bernard Duchesne and Rev. Ron Bray officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mr. O'Neal died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Mr. O'Neal was a longtime member of the Kilbourne Baptist Church. He was a deacon, a devoted Christian, a retired school bus driver and a farmer. Most of all he loved his children and other children.
He is preceded in death by a son, Eugene O'Neal and his parents, Albert Eugene O'Neal and Julia Lela Fleming O'Neal.
He is survived by his wife Josephine Kovac O'Neal of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Gloria Troia of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Albert Modell "Bud" O'Neal, Jr. and Diane O'Neal of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Lanny Chandler of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Ann Cascio of Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Penny O'Neal of Forest, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Reba O'Neal of Monroe; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Will Troia, David Shopher, Todd O'Neal, Lee Johnson, Paul Cascio and Greg Jones. Family will receive friends between the hours of 3 to 9PM on Sunday, October 10, 2004 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
