both parents died in the 1918 flu epidemic in Texline, TX within the same week. Ganelle was raised by her aunt Kate O'Brate Inman in Dalhart, Dallam Co,TX, but upon high school graduation went to live with her aunt Jo Shryack & aunt Edna Shryack Green enabling her to go to college in California.
Aunt Kate was very special, as were Aunt Edna and Aunt Jo,
who took Ganelle in while she attended college and put their own lives on hold while doing so.
Ganelle was a wonderful lady
She was living in Idaho to be near her daughter.
She was the wife of Edward C Tallmadge.
