Charles Leon Stockman, 66,died Thursday (Oct. 30, 2003) at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born April 10, 1937, in Boston, Mass., he was a son of the late Lucille DuFault Stockman and Joseph Bergner Stockman. He was educated in the Rockland City Schools and was of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Stockman was a retired Gunnery Sgt. with the U.S. Marine Corps with 25 years of service.
Survivors include his sons Richard Douglas Stockman (Born Richard Douglas Ellard), (Adopted by Charles in 1960), Robert Joseph Stockman, Jacksonville; daughter, Leanne Stockman Jernigan, Salisbury; and three grandchildren. As you can see our mother was added to his grave sight in 2008 now they rest in eternity together.
