Bobbie Estes McElhaney, 42, of Cedar Park, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, in Round Rock, Texas. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, in Bean's Parlor at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Bobbie was born in Waco, Texas, to Cecil Ray and Margaret Lucille Edison Estes. She attended LaVega High School and continued her education to become a licensed vocational nurse. She had an enormous heart to help the elderly. Bobbi was full of life and held her children dearly to her heart. She strived to better herself and become the best she could be. Bobbi was an amazing person with an abundance of love and thoughtfulness. Stricken by cancer, Bobbi fought long and hard. She gained the respect of and spoke to many people throughout her fight. She gracefully fought the odds of the inevitable. Her mission was to tell people about F.R.O.G., Fully Rely On God.
Bobbi is survived by her son, Brason McElhaney; daughter, Heather Ellis; mother, Margaret Estes; brothers, Bradley and Davis Estes; sister, Michelle Estes; and her lifelong best friend, Kristy Chapman.
