Brady Glen Benson, 10, was called by God to be one of his Angels on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Guthrie, OK with Reverend Robert Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Clarkson Cemetery, Coyle, OK.

People who knew Brady were touched by his genuine love for everyone, his ready smile, winning personality and beautiful blue eyes. He was a fourth grade student at Mulhall-Orlando Grade School where he loved to read and spell. He loved swimming and playing computer games. Most of all, he loved playing with his friends both younger and older as age didn't make any difference.

Brady was having so much fun as a first year 4-H member and took particular delight in showing his pigs. When he wasn't working with his projects, he loved making new friends and playing with them at the livestock shows. He was so excited when he won a blue ribbon on his first 4-H speech about his pig project.

Brady is survived by his parents Brooke and Brian Benson, his grandparents Penny and Tim Gooch, his grandfather Terry Furlong, all of Guthrie, and his grandparents Gene and Ann Benson of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by great-grandparents Bob and Tresa Osborn of Pocasset, OK, Robert and Jackie Gooch of Guthrie, and Wilma Furlong of Guthrie, great-great grandmother Wanna Fae Osborn of Pocasset, God-parents aunt Meghan and uncle Tyler Dixon of Guthrie, uncle Clayton and aunt Vanessa Furlong of Miami, Texas, aunts Katy and Abby Gooch of Guthrie, cousins Dominic, Blake, Jameson, Gabe, Landen, and Thomas, and many other relatives, friends and classmates.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather J.T. Furlong.

Pallbearers will be Chase Davison, Chris Bailey, Lance McCrary, Brian Schneider, Tyler Dixon, and Cameron Jackson.

Memorial contributions should be made in his name to Oklahoma Children's Heart Center, 1200 Children's Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK 73104 or Mulhall-Orlando Education Foundation, 2918 E. CR 68, Mulhall, OK 73063.
