Alexander was the son of Alexander Aganofski/Aganowski/Aganoski and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Tomulis. He died of "Ricketts", due to malnutrition from birth at the Holy Family Catholic Orphanage. (Source: Michigan Death Certificate). The 1930 U.S. Census shows his brother Albert was still in the orphanage.
