Evon J Bowen, Sr, on Monday, June 13, 1977 at 9:oo p.m., beloved husband of the late Thelma P Bowen, father of Mrs Ruth Canton, Mrs Thelma Johnson, E J Bowen Jr and the late David O (Buddy), Llewellyn R (Lew) and Ernest D Brown, survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family also members of Franklin Ave Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Arabi, Calvary Baptist Church, Crescent City Lodge No 37, International Association of Machinists, Fazzlos Garden Bowl and Anixter-N.O. are invited to attend the funeral services from the funeral home of E.J. Ranson & Sons, 1024 Elysian Fields Ave on Thursday June 16, 1977 at 10:00 a.m. Services at parlor. Interment at Masonic Cemetery.
