GLEN - Luther Roy Adams, 69, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at his home. He graduated from Burnsville High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He served in the U. S. Air Force for four years. He retired from the State Health Department after 30 years, serving in both Alcorn and Tishomingo counties. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, treasurer, adult Sunday school teacher and song leader for many years. A devoted family man, his favorite pastime was fellowshipping with his family, church family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at New Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in For­rest Memorial Park. Cutshall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Betty Hall Adams of Glen; two sons, Greg Adams and wife, Shirley, of Glen, and Steve Adams and wife, Sandy, of Decatur, Ala.; a daughter, Elizabeth Mor­ris and husband, Eddie, of luka; seven grandchildren, Seth, Chelsey and Eli Adams, all of Glen, Lauren and Natalie Adams, both of Decatur, Ala., and Ethan and Avaline Morris, both of Iuka.

He was preceded in death by his par­ents, Roy and Ruby South Adams, and an infant twin brother, Riley Troy Adams.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Kennedy, Greg Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy, Nicky Cum­mings, Mike Inlow and Todd Murphy.
