Linda was the "lunch lady" at Wahlquist Jr. High School in Ogden, and she loved the kids she served. She enjoyed fishing and camping in the Uintas with her sister, and loved to cook for everyone around her. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
Her greatest love was her grandchildren.
At the time of her passing, Linda was survived by four daughters, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, as well as one brother, three sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, her sister Elva, brother Oscar Rice, two nieces, and both husbands.
