Belle Green married William G. Allen 28 November 1878 in Hempstead County, Arkansas, USA.
__________
Mrs. Belle J. Allen died at her home in this city last Saturday morning at five o'clock, after a brief illness. She was a most superior woman, and her death came as a great shock to her many friends. The funeral services were held Sunday morning at nine o'clock at the Presbyterian Church, of which she was a zealous and faithful member, being conducted by her pastor, Rev. C.C. Williams, and attended by a large number of sorrowing friends and relatives, after which the remains were laid at rest at Cave Hill Cemetery. Her husband, the lamented W.G. Allen, went to his reward about a year ago. She leaves three sons and two daughters to mourn the loss of a tender mother's love. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to them in their sad affliction.
