Charlotte M. “Bid” Anderson, 99, of Williamsport, died peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, at Valley View Nursing Home.
Born August 31, 1918, in Rouseville, she was a daughter of Grover and Leola (Friggle) Hulsizer.
Charlotte had worked for 27 years at GTE Sylvania and was a member of the Sylvania Quarter Century Club. She was a member of the Newberry Senior Citizens and East End Baptist Church where she loved spending time and being involved in many of their activities. She was meticulous and always made sure everything around her was clean.
Surviving are a son, Robert D. Anderson, of Medina, Ohio; three grandsons, Craig Anderson (Tina), of Williamsport, Kevin Anderson (Tammy), of Medina, Ohio, and Shawn Anderson (Angie), of Medina, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Sara, Krista, Brittany, Brandon, and Erica; a brother, Paul Hulsizer, of Oil City; and a sister, Beverly Tenney, of Titusville.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A funeral service to honor Charlotteás life will follow at 3 p.m. at Sanders Mortuary. Burial will be held in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery, at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Charlotte’s name may be made to East End Baptist Church, 801 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
