Patricia "Pat" (Pitts-Maynard) Baker, 62, of Albany died Saturday.
She was born in Kansas, the daughter of George Albert and Leta M. (Hand) Pitts. She came with her family out West in 1947. She attended schools in Foster and Crawfordsville.
Pat married young and reared four children while living in Crawfordsville. That marriage ended later in divorce. Pat has been married the last 20 years to Donald Baker, living in Albany 17 of those years.
Pat enjoyed going to garage sales and getting outside. Don deeply loved her and pushed her in her wheelchair anywhere she and he wanted to go. Pat also enjoyed getting her family together and was a great cook. She loved jewelry and the little things in life. In her last days, her greatest joys were her trips to and from dialysis with her husband, Don, and spending time with her granddaughter, Shannon Patricia.
Pat is survived by sons Jim Maynard of Corvallis and Danny Maynard of Albany; daughter Lesley Maynard of Sweet Home; mother Leta M. Pitts; brothers Tom Pitts of Lebanon, Ed Pitts of Sweet Home and Steve Pitts of Albany; sister Peggy Dain of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father George Albert Pitts.
A funeral service will be Thursday at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
