J. Willard Anderson, age 66, died January 5, 1984, at the University of Nebraska Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska. He was born July 24, 1917 in Jarnsta, Dalarna, Sweden, to Adolph and Anna Anderson.

The family immigrated to the United States in 1920, and settled in Drayton, North Dakota. Later they moved to Kennedy, Minnesota.
After serving in the United States Army for four years during World War II, he graduated from the Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, MN in 1951.

He married Margaret Smith February 15, 1952, in Tucson, Arizona. He worked in Tucson several years as an auto mechanic before purchasing the family farm in northern Minnesota following his father's retirement. He farmed seven months each year, working in Tucson as a mechanic the remaining five months. In February, 1983, the couple retired to Agenda, Kansas.

He was a member of the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church, Brantford, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Ruth.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Anderson; children, Cheryll Anderson, Tucson, AZ; Lowell Anderson, Agenda, KS; Kristine Anderson, St. Paul, MN; Adele Anderson, Tucson, AZ; brothers, Allan Anderson, Kennedy, MN; Rev. Carold Anderson, Rockford, IL; Rev. Robert Anderson, SanDiego, CA; one sister, and Rose (Breck) Stevenson, Portland, OR;
