Martinez; maternal grandfather Frank Manzanares; paternal grandparents Pete and Olivama Martinez; uncles Leonard Floyd Manzanares, David Manzanares, Wilfred Martinez and Dr. Jerry Foropoulos; cousins Jacob Martinez and Betty Jo Manzanares-Hart.
Edward was survived by his children: Kenneth Paul and Joylynn Martinez, both of Nambe; mother Elizabeth Martinez of Chamita; sister Monique Martinez of Albuquerque; maternal grandmother Sophie Manzanares of Hernandez; aunts and uncles: Julia Manzanares of El Rancho, Marlene Martin (Gary) of Chamita, Joyce Foropoulos of Los Alamos who was also like a mother to him, Judy Chavez (Jimmy) of Chamita, Elaine Rodriguez of Alcalde, Leonard Manzanares (Rachel), David Martinez (Judy), and Pam Padilla (Bernie) all from Chamita; godson Andrew Herrera of El Rancho; godparents Alfred and Tina Madrid of Hernandez; special friend Bernie Maestas of Tierra Azul, and numerous relatives and friends.
A devotional service was on 26 Aug 2016 at Victory Faith Church in Española. Funeral service was on 27 Aug 2016 also at Victory Faith Church. Burial followed in New Life Cemetery in Hernandez.
