NEW LONDON--Mrs. Katie Canady, 88, Lowell, died Sunday in Henry County Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
She was born March 26, 1881, in Lee county, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Said Murray. She married Theodore Oliver Canady on Oct. 10, 1899. Mrs. Canady was a member of the Get Together club.
Surviving: A sister, Mrs. Lottie Canady, West Point; four grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Services: Wednesday, 2 p.m., Elliott chapel, New London, Rev. Ralph Jordan; Bethany cemetery.
