Winning performed the ceremony and the witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Silva, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. The couple have taken up residence at 303 Olive street.”

Chico Enterprise Record, Chico, CA, Saturday, January 9, 1965, page 3A: Ivy G. Allison. Funeral services for Ivy Grace Allison will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel of the Chico Funeral Home. The Rev. John Gordon Hooten of the First Christian Church will officiate.
Mrs. Allison was born in Peoria, IL, on June 20, 1888. She came to Chico at the age of 19 and worked for Diamond Match for five years. She then married John Lewis Allison in Chico, who preceded her in death in 1956. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving her are sons and daughters, Jack of North Highlands; Max of Chico; Marco Stumbo of Sacramento; Trillis Hitchcock of Denver, and Betty Luna of Fresno; a sister, Gladys Crandall and brother Lee Bundy of Chico, and also nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Entombment will be in the Chico Memorial Mausoleum beside her husband John.
