Thomas Raymond Sanchez – Age 47 a resident of San Juan passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005 unexpectedly. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Sanchez; grandfather, Jose Zebedeo Sanchez; and brother, Patrick Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Alexandria "Sandy" Sanchez of San Juan; son, Tyler Zebedeo Sanchez of San Juan; mother, Ramona Sanchez of San Juan; brothers and sisters: Victor and Clyde Martinez, Elizabeth Springer, Fila Diaz, Elizada Martinez, Mildred Archuleta and Nora Sanchez; close friend, Rodney Maes; and numerous nephews, nieces and other close relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Public visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan Pueblo. Interment will follow at the Alcalde Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Rodney Maes, Patrick Serrano, Marty Lopez, Isaac Trujillo, Bobby Edmonds, Freddy Dupree, John Gallegos and Rudy Archuleta.
