LEBANON ENTERPRISE OBITUARY - 09/15/2004
Helen Ellavenia "Sissy" Albertson, 76, Countryview Drive, Lebanon, died at 10:15 a.m. Sept. 8, 2004, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. Born in Marion County, Albertson was employed by Angell Manufacturing Company for 28 years, a schoolteacher and a housewife.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Edford Martin and Clyde Livice Hasty Gribbins; and a son, Terry Albertson. Survivors include: her husband, Bernie Albertson of Lebanon; a son and daughter, Jerry Albertson and Charlotte Thomas, both of Lebanon; five brothers, Clellan, Harold and Jerry Gribbins, all of Lebanon, and Andy and David Gribbins, both of Bradfordsville; two sisters, Barbara Jean Fowler of Louisville and Bernadette Bright of Bradfordsville; seven grandchildren, Jim Thomas, Jenny Bartley, Beth Albertson, Ashley Skaggs, Erin Albertson, T.J. Albertson and Amanda Atwood; and a great-granddaughter, Ella Thomas.
Funeral services were held Sept. 10 at Bradfordsville Baptist Church with burial in Old Liberty Cemetery. Bro. Robert Judd and Bro. Vic Stansbury officiated. Pallbearers were Clellan, Andy, Harold, Jerry, David and Darrell Gribbins, Gerald Bright and Donald Fowler. Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements
