Shirley Ann Sheppard Adcock, 74 of Rineyville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her residence.

She was a native of Central City in Muhlenburg County, KY, a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Radcliff and a retired cook for Howevalley Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zelba and Julia Virginia Devine Sheppard; two sisters, Julia VIrginia Sheppaard and Ida May Wood and two brothers, Arthur Berry and Billy Ray Sheppard.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton J. Adcock, Sr.; one daughter, Crystal Cox of Fruit Hurst, AL; one stepdaughter, Marilyn Adcock of Jackson, TN; four sons, Michael McAnly of Elgin, OK, Douglas McAnly of Summit, Glenn McAnly of Rineyville and Clayton J. Adcock, Jr. of Lebanon, TN; two brothers, Merle Sheppard of Louisville and Allen Joseph Sheppard of Crestwood; two sisters, Pricilla Mason of Fairdale and Jeanie Sturgeon of Louisville; twelve grandchildren, Tally McAnly, Jessica and Lamar Cox, Michael, Eric and Caterena McAnly, Jeremy McAnly, Sarah Wade, April McAnly, Tiffany McAnly, Laura Risner and Candice Kennedy and eight great grandchildren, Ethan, Ellie, MacKenzie, Tori, Landyn, Blake, Haven and Bryce.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Tom Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens
