Jerry Lester Coble was born on January 28, 1941 in Geary, OK to Arl Lester and Irene Helen (Mize) Coble. He passed away on April 19, 2016 in Geary, OK at the age of 75.
Jerry graduated from Geary High School in 1959. He married Janice Coburn on August 19, 1960 in Geary, OK. He lived in the Geary area most of his life. He worked as a draftsman and surveyor for Oklahoma County Surveyor and Haskell Lemon Construction Company as a construction supervisor. Jerry purchased Geary Auto Supply in 1973, and Watonga Auto Supply in 1989 which they still operate. His passion was hot rods and big motors. He would bark the tires on his El Camino every time he would get in it (he called it, ‘Cleaning its feet’).
Survivors Include: his wife, Janice Coble of Geary, OK, his son, Keven Coble of Watonga, OK, his grandson, Dylan of El Reno, OK, his brother, Larry Coble and wife Carolyn of Geary, OK, sister in law, Rinda Wolgamott and husband Monte of Guymon Ok, nieces Ann Wright and husband David of Hereford, Tex, Lori McCormick and husband Earl of Geary, and nephews Reese Wolgamott and wife Heather, of Muscle Shoals Ala, Travis Coble of Geary, 9 great nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arl and Irene Coble, his in laws, Velmer (Dutch) and Marie Coburn, and brother in law, Jeff Coburn.
