Wilmeta was born March 3, 1929 in Rushville, IN to Curby Browning and Alta (Jessup) Browning, both deceased.
She attended the Richland Schools and then Rushville High School. Wilmeta married Joseph Bailey in 1963 and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2007.
Wilmeta baby sat many years. She was member of the Rushville Baptist Temple.
Wilmeta Jean leaves behind four sons, Mark Myers, Bill Bailey, Mike Bailey, and Norman "Rusty" Bailey all of Rushville, a daughter, Linda Myers of Rush County, IN, a sister, Beverly June Griffin of New Castle, IN, fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Wilmeta was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Kay Thompson in 2008
