Rose, a lifelong resident of Santa Clara Pueblo, passed away at her home. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel; 2 daughters; and 3 sons.

Rose was survived by 4 daughters: Emily K. Dixon and Judith Williams of Dulce, Eleanor Koteen of Anchorage, Alaska; and Hendrina Cata of Santa Clara Pueblo; 3 sons: Tabor and Luther of Dulce, and Ralph of Albuquerque; 4 adopted daughters: Cecilia Monarco of Dulce, Wilma Moy of Denver, Colorado; Linda Cain of San Antonio, Texas; and Winona Koteen of Alamogordo; sister Olaria Sisneros of Santa Clara Pueblo, Raymond Naranjo of Santa Clara Pueblo; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were on Sept 15th in the Baptist Mission Church in Santa Clara. Burial was in the Dulce Cemetery. Pallbearers: Larry Dixon, Bill Williams, Jason Koteen, Brian Cata, Raymond Archuleta, and Robert Archuleta. Honorary pallbearers: Shannon Cata, Cheryl Cata, Tonia Koteen, Darell Williams, Earl Monarco Jr., Brian Kanfre, and Nick Julian.
