Frances Belden, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in Bowie, Texas.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Mountain Home Cemetery in Senate, Texas.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.

Frances was born May 5, 1933 to Frank and Blanche (Cherryhomes) Shoun in Jacksboro, Texas. She graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1951 and at North Texas University in 1955 with a business degree. Frances married Amos Belden on October 5, 1954 in Jacksboro, Texas. She worked as a CPA for many businesses in Bowie and Jacksboro. Frances was an avid antique collector and gardener.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Blanche Shoun; husband, Amos Belden; and brother, David Shoun.

Frances is survived by her two sons, Tom Belden of Galveston and Andrew Belden and wife, Karrie of Bowie; six grandchildren, Kandi Icenhower and husband, Justin of San Antonio, Kailah Belden of Bowie, Krystal Fuentes of Galveston, John Anthony Belden of League City, John Michael Belden of California, and David Belden of California; and brother, Bud Shoun and wife, Beverly of Jacksboro.
