George Truman Adams 87, of Burkburnett, TX. passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 in Wichita Falls, TX. Graveside services will be held at the Burkburnett Cemetery, Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at 11 AM, Joseph Oldham officiating under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett, TX.
Mr. Adams was born to John Q. and Tillie Belle (Ellis) Adams in Springfield, Ohio June 25, 1922. He married the love of his life Grace White who died a month ago to the day. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a sister and 2 children. George was employed in Highway Construction.
He is survived by 5 Sons; Abbey Adams; Howard Adams; Johnny Adams; Paul White all of Ohio and Carl Patton of California; 5 Daughters: Chris Vann of Lawton, OK.; Sue Carrico also of Lawton, OK.; Donna VanCleave of Burkburnett, TX.; Penney Fouts and Nadara Mader; 3 Step-Grandsons, Michael Geer, Greg Geer and Richard Geer ; 20 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
