Ethel Burnett, 95, of Mahomet passed away Saturday (Nov. 9, 2013) at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
She was born Dec. 26, 1917 in Monticello, Ky. to Thomas and Della Troxell Ipox. She married Thomas Burnett on July 9, 1950. He passed on May 24, 2003. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn McCormick.
She is survived by grandchildren, Flynn (Carleen) McCormick, Randy (Susan) McCormick and Blake (Jodi) McCormick and five great-grandchildren, Cole, Cale, Andrew, Jessica and Joshua.
She was a homemaker all her life. She also had worked at Cap and Gown.
