The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN), 25 Feb 1917, Page 22 (newspapers.com)
Newbern, Tenn., Feb. 24 (1917) - Mrs. Jennie Berryman, who came from another part of the state to visit her mother, Mrs. Pardin, died yesterday after three weeks illness. Mrs. Berryman was about 40 years old. Besides her mother and husband she leaves six children, five girls and one boy. She was buried at the Center Cemetery yesterday afternoon.
(Note from Lisa: I just noticed the newspaper article is incorrect in listing her children. She actually had 4 boys and 2 girls.)
