Buddy Frank, 83, of Summit, N.J., passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Nov. 12, 2011.
Services will be held at Temple Beth-El, 2419 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, N.J., on Monday, Nov. 14, promptly at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at New Mount Zion Cemetery in Lyndhurst, N.J.
Buddy was born and lived in Jersey City before moving to Summit 15 years ago.
He loved his family, the law, and the Giants. Buddy practiced law in Jersey City and elsewhere throughout the state, and served for many years in the county counsel office in Hudson County. Buddy taught law at Rutgers University.
He served on the board of trustees of Temple Beth-El of Jersey City for decades. Buddy also served as president of the Jersey City Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Family and Counseling Service of Jersey City, Bayonne, N.J., and Hoboken, N.J.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Sandy Press Frank; his adoring children, Lynda and Scott Rash, and David and Sherry Frank, and grandchildren, Zakariya and Aliyah.
