Mrs Mabel Minnie Baum, 54, of 5915 Johnson drive, died at 8:05 a.m. today in St. Joseph Mercy hospital after an illness of several months. She had been in the hospital three days. She was born May 18, 1894, the daughter of Thomas and Minnie Coffey, and was married to George Baum who survives her. A lifelong resident of the county, she attended Waterford schools and was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs Janis White of Pontiac and Joan A at home; two sons, Junior E. and James A. both at home; four grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Reeves of Crescent Lake, Mrs. Cecil Ingamells, of Waterford township and Mrs. Isabel Cummings of Utica, and three brothers, Floyd and Morris of Pontiac and Leon Coffey of Commerce.
The body is a Sparks-Griffin Funeral home pending arrangements.
