Ultimately, his career expanded to the Dayton Gas, Light and Coke Company, where he served as secretary of the company for many years. Mr. Smart was an active member of the Dayton F. & A. M. fraternity.
George and Clara were the parents of two daughters, Stella and Bertha, and two sons, William W. and George A. Smart.
