At the home of the bride's parents, Rev. and Mrs. A. B. Hames, Aurora, on Wed. Sept. 20, at 4 o'clock, the marriage of their daughter, Edith Ansonetta, to Mr. Frederick E. Atkinson of Port Rowan, son of Mrs. Atkinson and the late Eli Atkinson, of Streetsville, Ont. was solemnized in the presence of a large number of guests, the bride's father officiating. The bride, wearing white canton crepe, tulle veil and orange blossoms, carrying a shower bouquet of roses and lily-of-the-valley, entered the drawing room with her brother, Mr. Clarence Hames, to the strains of the wedding march played by her sister, Miss Freda Hames. They were unattended. During the signing of the register, Miss Freda Hames sang "My World." After the ceremony a buffet luncheon was served in the dining room. The bride received many valuable gifts. After a short trip Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson will reside at Port Rowan, Ont.
