Beulah Payton Comer was the oldest child of Samuel Marion Barger, and Melinda Jane Barger (nee Williams). She was first married to Clarence Adkisson, but he died of cancer in 1933. he's buried beside his brother Charlie here in Union. They had two sons who died in infancy, and are supposedly buried here also, although their graves aren't marked. Her daughter Patricia Comer Hobbs is buried here, but another daughter Sammie Lane Burns Robinette, is buried in Rockwood, TN.
